Private Dental Care
All dentists at this practice offer an excellent
value private service. This enables us to spend more quality time
with each patient, discussing and advising on the various treatment
options.
Currently (Jan 2008), a first appointment
examination costs a maximum of £66, inclusive of any necessary
small x-rays. This examination includes a periodontal check to
ensure that your gums are healthy, as well as a full check for mouth cancer. In complex
cases it may be necessary to take impressions of your mouth for
study models and arrange a further appointment for formulating
a treatment plan. Sometimes a full mouth x-ray (known as an OPG)
may be needed for diagnosis. These items are at additional cost.
Further treatment is charged for on a time basis
rather than by fee per item, as we feel this is the fairest system.
Subsequent to initial examination, we are able to discuss a treatment
plan with you, informing you about how long any treatment will take
and the relevant cost.
Denplan Care
Denplan Care is an excellent way of spreading the
cost of dental treatment, but still having the benefit of private
quality treatment. Denplan Care fees vary, depending on your dental
health. There are five categories from A to E, with an average patient
falling into category C, which costs about £19.62 per month.
This monthly fee covers the cost of all routine dental care, with
the exception of laboratory costs (crowns and dentures etc.) and
prescription drugs. Denplan Care also has many other benefits, including
accidental injury and world wide emergency cover..

Payment Options
We accept payment via cash, cheque, or all major
credit and debit cards (excluding American Express). We can offer interest-free credit subject to status, via the "Denplan Enhance" scheme for funding of extensive treatment cases
Access for Disabled
The practice is committed to providing facilities
for equality of access for disabled persons. We have wheelchair
access to all surgeries, and there is a special reserved car park
space for the disabled, adjacent to the front door. Please let our
