We have three dentists, and a part-time hygienist. We
are committed to quality dental care, and are very proud
that the majority of our support staff possess the dental
nursing qualification.
The practice keeps
up to date with the latest treatments and technology
by regular courses and training.
Trina Baker is our
superb practice manager, who keeps Moorlands Dental
Practice running smoothly. Our hygienist is Sharon Kitt,
who works on Monday mornings and Fridays. She is an
experienced hygienist, who is able to work in partnership
with you to help improve and maintain your oral health.
Kerrie and Natasha
are our two smiling receptionists. Kay, Catherine, Zara
and Laura are our friendly nurses who complete our dental
team. We all undergo a process of continuing education
and training in order that we are able to offer you
the best dental care.

Andrew J Hawker

Andrew Hawker has
worked at the practice for 23 years and has special
interests in orthodontic treatment and cosmetic dentistry,
including the provision of dental implants. He is able
to provide most of the orthodontic care within the practice.
He is a member of the British
Orthodontic Society and also the Association
of Dental Implantology.
James
Brandon

James Brandon has
worked in the Royal Navy Dental Service and general
practice. He has also had experience in the community
dental services. He has recently completed a comprehensive
advanced restorative dental course with Paul Tipton,
one of the UK's leading dentists.
Melanie J Coward

Melanie Coward has
worked at the practice for 17 years and began her dental
career as a "school dentist" in Liverpool.
She has worked in a variety of dental practices in Dorset,
before joining the Moorlands Road team in 1990. Mrs
Coward works part time (Tuesdays, Thursdays and most
Fridays) and has a special interest in the care of nervous
patients.
